March Hope-Mongering session topic:

Off to College!

Is your child with T1D heading off to college in the coming years? The transition to independence and college life can be an overwhelming thought process, but we've got you covered. You and your prospective college student are invited to join this month's Hope-Mongering Parent/Caregiver session

We've got a star-studded crew joining us this month. GCC alumni and staff members, Goose, Padfoot, and Cobos are all current college students who will share their perspective, tips, and advice. We will also welcome our friends from The Diabetes Link, who work with colleges throughout the US and will provide resources and information on getting plugged into a supportive community.

Join us on March 16th at 7pm on Zoom. Bring your questions and experiences to share!

Hope-Mongering Parent Sessions are always free!

About Hope-Mongering:

Each month we recruit an array of key voices to host a series of conversations: parents, young adults who grew up with T1D, health coaches, educators, dietitians, T1D doctors and nurses, and of course the GCC summer camp crew. It's a magic formula for conversation on raising a young person with T1D. We'd love for you to join us and add your voice, or just sit back and listen. Feel free to bring topics or questions.
