A Message from Mike Ward, Hope's Consultant with GSB Consultants
People often wonder what is going on behind the scenes of a capital campaign once they know it is going to start until they start to learn about it. We are beginning the Soft Phase and we are doing several important tasks right now.
First, we are working on capturing some stories. We start with clarifying the story of what God is up to through the ministry of the people at Hope because this is after all why we are doing any of this. Then, we are clarifying the story of the project of this campaign. Finally, we are working to finalize the goal of the campaign. To do this, we will invite several households to go ahead and make their commitment to this campaign as securing the top gifts toward a goal are critical in reaching that goal. Several households have already mentioned that they would like to start giving early and if you would like to join them, please contact Pastor Jon-Marc at pastorjm@hope4all.church.
At this time, we will also begin building the volunteer infrastructure needed for the campaign. Along with the general Capital Campaign Committee, we will need subcommittees including the Information Team, Inspiration Team, Response Team, and Special Events Team as well as other volunteers.
Meetings with volunteers will begin in September. If you are feeling called to be involved in the campaign, please contact Bob Franceski at bob@hope4all.church.
The public Campaign will then be ready to launch in mid-January, 2023.
