What's happening?
A Special Congregational Meeting is scheduled for Friday, October 7, 2022, at 3:00pm at Hope Central Campus, preceding the Annual Church Picnic. You'll be able to come for the meeting and then stay to enjoy the picnic!
Purpose: Congregation approval of the Activity Center conceptual design, including building, parking, access road, utilities and associated site work, and approval for payment of all expenses associated with the Activity Center. In addition, approval of estimated costs for the design/engineering contracts for the Worship Center, Administration/Education Center, Courtyard and Bell Tower, along with detailed design plans for utilities, drainage, parking, access roads, landscaping and all associated site work.
Why is this important? Hope’s Constitution Bylaws Continuing Resolutions places many authorities in the hands of the Congregation. The Constitution requires a quorum of five (5%) percent (+/- 100 people) of confirmed voting members but never less than fifty (50) voting members for all Congregational Meetings. The vote will occur at Hope Central Campus and all eligible voting members will need to attend the meeting to vote. Voting by proxy or by absentee ballot is not permitted.
Voter Eligibility: A voting member is defined in the Constitution and is available for viewing at hope4all.church. Hope’s Constitution is also available on our webpage. It is extremely important that you exercise your powers as a voting member to support the Hope South Building Project. If you are unsure of your voter eligibility status, contact the Hope office at (352) 750-2321.

A Town Hall Meeting will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at 4:00pm at Hope Central Campus. This is your opportunity to view the project, to ask questions, and to provide comments to the Strategic Planning Committee and the Congregational Council.
