Students Witness Life in the Womb

Family Life Center recently partnered with HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital and welcomed students from St. Anthony High School for our Window to the Womb event. A similar event was held in Newton for students from Newton Community High School and St. Thomas School.

Through live ultrasounds, fetal models, and a tour of our facilities, over 100 students witnessed the beauty and complexity of life in the womb. One student shared, “It was so neat to be able to see a live ultrasound and to see the baby’s heartbeat, see it move around in the womb and open its mouth, and to just live.” They also learned how the Family Life Center supports families facing unplanned pregnancies with free services, parenting classes, and ongoing care. As another student put it, “It made me grateful that women in our community had somewhere they could go to get the care that they deserve.”

Thank YOU Jasper and Richland Counties for supporting our breakfast and auction we held in March to benefit the Newton location. With over 425 attendees we were able to raise $16,622! Your support is incredible! We are so thankful for the amazing community and over 60 businesses that donated items for the auction!

Shari Goldstein, our Operations Manager, is celebrating 15 years of faithful service, and Emily Miller, our Processing Clerk, is celebrating 11 years with the ministry.

Due to an incredible response and reaching full capacity for our evening event, we’re excited to announce that this year’s Annual Vision Dinner will now be offered at two different times!

Guests can choose between:

11:30 AM – Lunch Option
6:30 PM – Dinner Option

Both gatherings will feature the exact same program, so you won’t miss a thing regardless of which time you select. This adjustment allows us to welcome more of our community to hear about the vision, celebrate what has been accomplished, and look ahead to what’s next.
