The last 8 months, at times, have felt surreal. Everyone has been impacted by the pandemic to some degree, and our friends in Peru have been impacted significantly.

Even through crisis, many of the Peruvian Partners ministries continue to be active to support the community of Flores de Villa.

Recently, Casa Darling, the girls' youth home has become unavailable. The house's owner and mentor, Genoveva has decided to resign due to her health challenges and COVID concerns.

God has lifted up a Darling House graduate, Vivian, to be the new mentor for the girls; has set up temporary houses; and the girls continue to excel in their schooling (virtually), Bible study, and serving the community of Flores de Villa.

In August of 2019 the ministry purchased a vacant lot to become the second youth girls' home, Casa America!

With the Darling House unavailable, God is providing us the opportunity to build Casa America on the lot He provided before the pandemic started!

Plans for the three-story structure, which would house 18 girls, have been drafted (image below). The cost of the project is $240,000 and will take approximately 4-6 months to build, but we need your help.

We are hoping to receive contributions by December 10th so construction can begin immediately. Any dollars over the $240,000 goal will be allocated for emergency aid and food for the Flores de Villa community during this pandemic.
