Northern California Japanese Restaurant Association (NCJRA) and Nikko Hotel San Francisco will host a fundraising event Hope To Japan on Tuesday, April 5. The event's purpose is to support the victims of the March 11 earthquake and tsunami in Japan. With the official number of dead and missing has risen to almost 17,000 and damage estimated at $14.5 billion to $34.6 billion, this proud and prosperous country is overwhelmed by the devastation.
Northern California Japanese Restaurant Association (NCJRA) and Nikko Hotel San Francisco have partnered with other respected leaders and organizations in Northern California to establish Hope To Japan Committee (HTJC) to help rebuild Japan. This is going to be a very exiting and meaningful event to aid the people of Japan. There will be food and drink provided by over 30 restaurants, wineries, sake brewers, music and more.
