REMINDER: YEAR END SURVEYS

We ask that you take a few minutes and complete two important surveys regarding Horizon Honors Elementary School. All surveys will be open through Monday, April 24.

1. Elementary School Satisfaction Survey

Please complete this survey ONCE and when answering the questions consider all your students currently enrolled at Horizon Honors Elementary School. The survey should take around 5 minutes to complete.

2. Elementary School Teacher Feedback

Please complete this survey for each teacher your child(ren) currently have at Horizon Honors Elementary School. This feedback will be shared with the teacher and will aid in setting professional growth objectives for the upcoming school year. This survey should take approximately 4 minutes per teacher. 

The Staff Appreciation Committee celebrates ALL staff, from Teachers to Club Horizon Staff and Maintenance during the week of May 1-5. We would like your help in enhancing their special week by making it one-click easy to bring fun flavors from all over to our school.

Click on the Amazon Wish List to see if there is something you'd like to donate. The best part - you don’t even have to drop it off. It’s a great way to help celebrate our staff without putting something else on your To-Do list!

Horizon Honors Elementary uses an online organizational tool called SignUp.com which helps make signing up to volunteer easy and efficient. Elementary Field Days, Fun Runs, Field Trip Chaperone and Art Masterpiece Presenter and Helpers are just a few events you can sign up for via your students classroom calendar. In addition to the above activities, watch for opportunities via school e-blasts and K-6 Classroom Coordinator emails. Follow the steps below and find out more about a specific volunteer opportunity.

1. Fill out a Volunteer Application, this must be completed and processed prior to helping on campus. The volunteer application needs to be completed at the beginning of each school year.
2. Sign up using SignUp.com. Just click on your student's classroom to sign up. 5-6 parents and guardians please choose your students project group teacher unless directed otherwise.
3. Please bring your driver's license with you and check in at the Elementary office. When volunteering, small children/siblings are not allowed. If you are helping out in the classroom please read the Classroom Volunteer Guidelines and reach out if you have any questions.

We appreciate you taking the time to volunteer...it makes a difference!
