Weekly Eblast -- 12/8/23

In case you missed it, Horizon Honors Elementary School's own Grades 1-2 Teacher Ashley Meyer won the prestigious Milken Educator Award yesterday! We are so proud of Mrs. Meyer!

Check out the AZCentral Article HERE.

Phoenix College sends Horizon Honors Schools a huge thank you for the food donation. The shelves in the student pantry (supported only by donations) were almost empty, but thanks to Horizon Honors, students will have access to food items at this time. Many Phoenix College students face food insecurity and are receiving financial aid to complete their education. These donations will greatly support these students. THANK YOU!

CHRISTMAS TREE PICKUP

BSA Troop 278 chartered by Horizon Honors Schools is doing an annual Christmas Tree pickup fundraiser.

We will take your Christmas Tree to get composted so you don't have to! This is happening on December 30th and January 6th between 8:00am to 12pm. All you need to do is remove the decorations and place curbside on requested day.

Please email troop278trees@gmail.com to arrange pickup. We will respond with details and more information. Thank you for supporting Scouting in Ahwatukee.
