Help us celebrate the Horizon Honors Staff by baking your favorite holiday cookies! The Staff Appreciation Committee needs volunteers to bake and donate sweet treats for their annual Cookies & Cocoa event. We will be collecting cookies before school on Thursday, December 11th and Friday, December 12th.

GIVING TUESDAY IS DECEMBER 2!

GivingTuesday is just around the corner, and we need your help to make this year’s project a reality for our students. Next Tuesday our community will come together to support the creation of a Courtyard Learning Space near our Gym. It is a much-needed outdoor area where students can gather, collaborate, and learn in the fresh air.

This project will only be possible through the generosity of our Horizon Honors families, and every contribution made directly determines how much we can accomplish. We’ve created three giving tiers so you can see exactly what your support will help us achieve.

GIVING TUESDAY PROJECT: Courtyard Learning Space

Tier 1 – Courtyard Turf Installation = Goal: $15,000

If we reach this goal, we can install high-quality turf to transform the courtyard into a clean, safe, and usable learning environment.

Tier 2 – Outdoor Learning Furniture + Turf = Goal: $20,000

With this tier, we not only install the turf but also add outdoor learning picnic tables to bring the space to life for whole classes and small groups.

Tier 3 – Premium Courtyard Seating + Tier 1 & 2 = Goal: $42,000

Reaching this tier would allow us to complete the full vision with durable, premium tables, seating & umbrellas that will support students for years to come.

Your support at any level will help us create a vibrant outdoor space our students can enjoy every single day. If every family gives what they can, we will make a tremendous impact together.

2026 ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME NOMINATIONS

Horizon Honors Athletics is pleased to announce that it is now accepting nominations for the 2026 Athletic Hall of Fame. We invite community members, alumni, former athletes, coaches, and supporters to submit names of individuals and teams who have demonstrated exceptional achievement, sportsmanship, and lasting contributions to the Horizon Honors Athletic program.

The Winter Athletic Fee of $250 is due by Friday, December 5th, to maintain athletic eligibility. Please remember that all other fees must be paid before the athletic fee can be paid.

Join the Kiwanis Club of Ahwatukee in providing Christmas gifts to Foster Youth living in group homes. Without community support, these teens may otherwise not have gifts under the tree on Christmas morning. The Kiwanis Club is counting on people like you to make sure we reach as many Foster Youth as possible. The deadline to donate is Wednesday, December 10th.
