Every student has intrinsic worth based upon who he or she is and not what he or she wears. Horizon Honors wants to create an environment in which each student can develop those innate qualities, focus on learning, and contribute in a positive way to the community. Cultural pressures related to clothing choice can distract students and undermine that positive environment. The adopted dress code encourages self-discipline, safety, modesty, and will still allow students to be creative in exercising choice. Dress code applies while on school grounds and at all school events on or off campus (including field trips) unless otherwise directed by administration.
  • Students are required to be in dress code compliance everyday which includes their school lanyard & ID.
  • The school administration has final interpretation of the Dress Code including interference with the educational process and safety hazards. The administration may allow for announced exceptions or variances to the Dress Code for certain spirit days or events. Students who are in non-compliance with the dress code will be referred to the administration and assigned a consequence in accordance to the Student Code of Conduct and may not be allowed to return to class until they are in dress code. Repeated dress code violations will be considered insubordination.

TRYOUTS BEGIN MONDAY
Athletic Forms: We are proud to announce that we will be using Register My Athlete for our registration process this year. Families will provide all of their athlete's paperwork through this portal to seek eligibility for athletic tryouts. All forms for the 2021-2022 athletic season are available on registermyathlete.com. Please download the documents for submission to your physician and signatures from Parent/Guardian and athletes.  Upload your materials for review and acceptance.
