Candi Davenport MS, LADC is in her third year providing Chemical Health support services to Edina Public Schools. Candi has 23 years of experience working with adolescents in the field of chemical health, including working in treatment programs and educational settings.
As the Chemical Health Counselor, she provides direct service, intervention and education to students, families and staff. She also works with students who have violated the schools chemical use policy, including vaping, smoking and drug use, additionally offering family resources and supports. Candi believes that there is a strong and often complicated link between chemical use and mental health, therefore it is necessary to addressing them together.
Co-located services is a successful model that takes down barriers and increases the student’s ability to access services. Similar to current model that offers Mental Health services, however, Chemical Health services are free and 100% confidential. Candi has an office at Edina High School and is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays to students and families. She is responsive to all calls and emails regardless of the day, please feel free to reach out to connect directly at 952-848-4831 or candi.davenport@edinaschools.org
