Personal Safety Building Blocks
featuring Alison Feigh, MS
Monday, February 3rd
South View Middle School Auditorium
4725 South View Lane, Edina
Parents have a huge role to play in violence prevention. Parents have asked for resources to make loaded conversations around sexual violence prevention manageable and empowering. This presentation answers that request by providing tools for parents on teaching consent and empathy to children and teens using positive moments of connection. We will spend some time on the WHY, but most of the time will be spent on the HOW so that parents leave feeling equipped and empowered to support their kids in a lasting way.
Parents are welcome to bring their older children to this event as well. Recommended for students in grades 7th-12th.
Please note CEU's are available for no charge this year.
