Student & Parent Resources
Student Services Support by phone, email or Google Meet (counselors, social workers, school psychologists)

We want to make sure that students, families are aware that the Student Services Department, which includes our counselors, our School Psychologist and our School Social Worker will remain open for virtual business on all Distance Learning days. The School Counselors, School Psychologist, and our School Social Worker ARE available to connect over the phone or over Google Meet during regular business hours.

Those who would like us to contact them for non-emergency matters should send an email, and we will attempt to get back to them before the end of the day, if possible.
In the case of an emergency, students, families, and staff should contact 911.

Writing Center Online

Students use this resource for feedback from peer writing coaches!

Click the link below to share a link to a complete essay or draft, in order to receive comments/suggestions from peer writing coaches. We will provide feedback within 48 hours of submission (keep this in mind if you have a deadline coming up).

Please also note that papers submitted after 9:00 pm will not be recorded in the system until the next morning at 9:00 am. Papers submitted during the weekend will begin the 48 hour feedback turnaround on Monday morning.

Thank you for taking advantage of this opportunity to become a better writer.
Other Opportunities
School districts, including Edina, have put in place daily meal distribution for students in need. But it is not enough. While any student 18 and under is provided breakfast and lunch, district parents tell us overall food insecurity is a growing concern for their entire family, as businesses and organization shut down.

That’s why we have created the MealFund for Edina Public Schools COVID19 Response Fund. Working in partnership with Edina Education Fund, and Edina Give and Go, we have a goal to collect $75,000. We will use these donations to purchase and distribute evening meals, as quickly as possible, to families in need.
