Welcome to the 2018-19 school year!

EHS has much to celebrate with continued success in 2017-18. 88% of our students hit qualifying scores on over 2500 AP exams which is mind boggling and miles above the state average. We have over 500 AP Scholars, over 40 National Merit honorees and EHS students made a solid 5% gain on the ACT writing exam. We also had 18 teams compete in the state tournament with four additional state
championships to add to the trophy case.

The Edina High School culture is one that fosters excellence and equity in academics, athletics and the arts with an active presence in the community. EHS students see themselves as future leaders with the capacity to tackle problems and answer questions around the globe.

While maintaining our tradition of excellence we also strive to stimulate progress. EHS will foster rigor, relevance and relationships, high expectations with systemic support and college and career readiness with wellness. Specifically our building and Professional Learning Community (PLC) goals for 2018-19 will be built around academic writing and personalized learning.

Please use the Hornet Headlines newsletter throughout the school year for updates and information regarding EHS.

Thank you for your partnership and I look forward to seeing you soon. Go Hornets!

Participation in athletics, fine arts, activities, and clubs are all part of what makes Edina High School a world-class academic institution. Find your passion and get involved in EHS this year!

The Activities Office will be relocated to the Hornet Hub School Store this year. We will manage the school store so that all students and families will have the opportunity to visit throughout the school day and selected evenings. EHS is looking forward to providing a new school store experience!
