Principal's Message
EHS Distance Learning Information
Edina Public Schools is joining the #BeTheLightMN movement to honor the
EHS Class of 2020 and we are inviting you to participate by turning on your front porch light! For the the remaining Mondays in April, the lights at Kuhlman Field will go on at 8:30 p.m. for 20 minutes and 20 seconds in honor of our EHS Seniors. We are asking that you help us honor them by turning on your front porch lights at the same time, for the same duration. (No front porch? Put a light in the window!)

Please note, this is NOT a call to come to the field.
Enjoy the glow of the field from afar and practice social distancing.

If we all turn on our lights, the neighborhoods will be glowing too!

Our stadium lights will burn brightly for 20:20, to honor our Seniors
and encourage them to stay strong.

We are proud of the Class of 2020!

Please also note that papers submitted after 9:00 pm will not be recorded in the system until the next morning at 9:00 am. Papers submitted during the weekend will begin the 48 hour feedback turnaround on Monday morning.

Thank you for taking advantage of this opportunity to become a better writer.
SMath Center Online

Students use this resource for peer feedback for science or math!

Students fill out the form, describe their question, and potentially
insert an image of their work/process so far.

SMath tutors will manage the workflow and assign the problems out to
peer tutors to provide responses during their tutor period. Students should
receive feedback within 24 hours or less via their school email

SMath tutors have been specifically told to not answer the exact question
for the students. Tutors will provide helpful tools, strategies, steps, examples,
and resources for students to  learn  how to solve their problems.

Student Expectations
School day is Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 3:00pm

Students must complete attendance-based
assignments by 5:00pm each day.

School is not optional.

Students who do NOT submit daily attendance-based
assignment or participate online are truant.
Other Opportunities
School districts, including Edina, have put in place daily meal distribution for students in need. But it is not enough. While any student 18 and under is provided breakfast and lunch, district parents tell us overall food insecurity is a growing concern for their entire family, as businesses and organization shut down.

That’s why we have created the MealFund for Edina Public Schools COVID19 Response Fund. Working in partnership with Edina Education Fund, and Edina Give and Go, we have a goal to collect $75,000. We will use these donations to purchase and distribute evening meals, as quickly as possible, to families in need.
