Horrigan Family Businesses Address Coronavirus Concerns
Horrigan Cleaners | Horrigan Premium Laundromat | Horrigan Flooring Center
We want to reach out and openly communicate with our customers regarding precautions we putting into place to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Information has been evolving and this is an uncertain time for small businesses and individuals.

The health of our customers and employees is of primary concern. Currently our family of businesses, Horrigan Cleaners, Horrigan Premium Laundromat, and Horrigan Flooring Center are all open and serving the community. We are following best practices recommended by the Centers for Disease Control, state, and local governments including frequent handwashing, requiring employees to stay home if they are not feeling well, sanitizing hard surfaces in our facilities on a more rigorous schedule than usual, and trying to practice social distancing.

Please check our websites and Facebook pages for updates.
Horrigan Premium Laundromat:
It's a Team Effort.
Because the laundromat is essential for so many local families, it will remain open. Steps we are taking, and how you can help to ensure the health and safety of yourselves and those around you:
  • Our housekeeping staff will continue to disinfect bathrooms, doorknobs, folding stations, coin machines, and all areas subject to high contact.
  • Disinfectant wipes will be installed for your use on laundry carts, washer/dryer handles, and other areas. We recommend you wipe down before and after use.
  • Hand sanitizing dispensers are now on-site. Please use them.
Coronavirus: Tips for Safe Laundry Care
Recommendations from the Coin Laundry Association
Keep Doing Laundry!
Regular cleaning will prevent the spread of disease as the virus can live on clothing for up to 3 days.

The Hotter the Wash, the Better .
Experts recommend washing items in a temperature of at least 140F. Follow clothing manufacturers' instructions and use the warmest appropriate setting.

Use the Dryer.
Viruses do not like heat and the dryer will further prevent the spread of disease.

Use the Right Amount of Soap.
Too much soap creates excess suds that causes dirt and the virus to remain trapped in the fabric. The right amount of soap will properly clean your clothes and be rinsed from the fabrics.

Avoid Shaking Dirty Laundry.
This will minimize the possibility of dispersing the virus through the air.

Clean and Disinfect Clothes Hampers and Baskets.
Consider placing a bag liner in your hamper that is either disposable or can be laundered.
