Just Announced... 2026 Scholarships increased to $2,500 each!

Dear Students, Educators and Supporters!

Just this week, the Sidney B. Meadows Board of Directors has approved the 2026 Scholarship Awards to be increased to $2,500 each, previously was $2,000. The fund projects to award 12 scholarships totaling $30,000 this year.

Apply for Multiple Scholarships through Joint Application Process with HRI

The Sidney B. Meadows Scholarship Endowment Fund partners with HRI on a common application, allowing students to apply for multiple scholarship programs at once and mitigate the time-consuming application process. 

For our scholarship, Students who are currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate ornamental horticulture program or related discipline at a four-year college-level institution in the USA, a Junior, Senior, or Graduate level, and a resident of any of the sixteen southeastern states may be eligible for this scholarship. The 2026 Sidney B. Meadows Scholarship Applications will be accepted through May 31, 2026. We encourage you to review our eligibility requirements to see if your student(s) qualify.

Since its beginnings in 1989, the fund has awarded over $670,000 to students!
