SUPPORT FROM THE MAYOR

As a sneak peek of one of many highlights you’ll find in our 2017 Annual Report, at last year's fundraising Gala, Mayor, Don Iveson told us of his support for organizations working with people needing community support, and in particular, Pilgrims Hospice.

“We’ve been really impressed with everything we’ve learned about the staff and the care they provide – really just contributing to the dignity for people who are in the dying process, and support for their family. It’s wonderful work.” - Edmonton Mayor, Don Iveson

The full report will be available soon.

HELP SHAPE PALLIATIVE CARE IN CANADA
Health Canada is holding online public consultations on palliative care in Canada, as a first step in developing a national framework for palliative care.

Palliative care will impact all of us at some point in our lives, so let’s start the conversation now by sharing your thoughts, ideas and experiences

Your participation shows that you think palliative care should be a priority for governments and is your chance to help shape palliative care in Canada.
