July Implementation Stakeholder Meeting Cancelled
The stakeholder meeting scheduled for Monday, July 14 regarding the implementation of HB 24-1399 and SB 24-116 has been cancelled. The next stakeholder meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 13. More information about topics that will be covered at the August meeting will be available closer to the meeting date.
Rules covering the entirety of HB 24-1399 were granted final adoption at the May 9, 2025 Medical Services Board meeting and went into effect on July 1, 2025. The only remaining part of SB 24-116 that has not yet been implemented is the addition of the new population groups within Presumptive Eligibility (PE). The implementation of the system changes to accommodate the expanded population groups is in process and is currently on track to be completed by January 2026.
HCPF plans to take rules for the presumptive eligibility updates that impact Hospital Discounted Care to the September Medical Services Board meeting, which will be held September 12, 2025 beginning at 9 a.m. Draft rules will be available the week before the Public Rule Review Meeting, which is scheduled for August 18, 2025 at 9 a.m.
HCPF understands that stakeholders may have comments or questions related to the current status of the implementation of the bills between scheduled stakeholder meetings. Hospital Discounted Care Advisory Committee
The first meeting of the Hospital Discounted Care Advisory Committee will be held July 28, 2025 from 1 to 3 p.m. Materials will be available on the Advisory Committee webpage closer to the meeting.
Data Reporting - due September 2
This is a reminder that data reporting for Hospital Discounted Care is due annually to HCPF by September 1. With Labor Day falling on September 1 this year, the due date for data reporting has been moved to September 2.
The data templates are available on the Hospital Discounted Care website. If you are reporting data for a Hospital or System please use the Hospital Data Template, and if you are reporting data as an individual professional or group please use the Professional Data Template.
