Hospital Discounted Care Advisory Committee
House Bill 24-1399, passed during the 2024 legislative session, added Section 25.5-3-507 which creates the Hospital Discounted Care Advisory Committee. The new committee will advise the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF) on operations and policies for Hospital Discounted Care and make recommendations to the Medical Services Board regarding rules. Members of the Hospital Discounted Care Advisory Committee will be appointed beginning July 1, 2025 or upon appointment whichever is later.
If you wish to apply for a seat, please fill out the application and submit your resume or curriculum vitae in the form by May 5, 2025. Appointments will be announced through email in June and the Hospital Discounted Care Advisory Committee meeting schedule will be announced at a later time.

Hospital Office Hours
During a recent Office Hours, HCPF requested feedback on the cadence and content of the meetings to determine how helpful the sessions continue to be for providers. Attendees suggested changing the schedule and format of Office Hours to holding sessions once a month with an open agenda and adding quarterly training to the current annual training schedule.
HCPF is requesting additional stakeholder feedback on reducing Office Hours to once a month and adding more official training sessions throughout the year, and is also asking for topic submissions for potential quarterly training.
