I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday season! We are excited for the completion of a big milestone for the Hospital Transformation Program (HTP): the submission of both the HTP 1115 demonstration waiver application and the State Plan Amendment (SPA) to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). I'd like to thank all those who gave us valuable feedback and participated in the public comment process, as well as to all of those who have played some role, however big or small, in the development of the program over the last three plus years. We look forward to continued collaboration as we work on upcoming components and the implementation of the program.

Beginning at the end of February, the HTP team will be begin in-person training for hospitals participating in HTP. Dates and times for these trainings can be found in this newsletter. We encourage all hospitals to mark their calendars and plan to attend in-person as many important requirements will be reviewed.

Best,

Matt Haynes
Special Finance Projects Manager
