Dear Hospital Partners,
Thank you for your continued and thoughtful engagement with the Hospital Transformation Program (HTP) development and implementation. As you know, the HTP application is currently due no later than April 30, 2020, including a description of all interventions and quality measures your hospital will undertake and be accountable for to meet the goals of the HTP. The application process includes a requirement for community partner review and feedback.
First, we'd like to thank you for the care you provide to our Medicaid and CHP+ members and all Coloradans. We are deeply appreciative of what you do everyday. Thank you.
Second, we also want to acknowledge that you are devoting all available resources to the COVID-19 pandemic readiness and care delivery.
In light of this, the Department is delaying the HTP application due date until a future date to be announced. As the current public health situation is fluid, we do not have a new due date to announce presently. We will continue to monitor the ongoing situation, communicate with you and your representatives, and provide updates as needed. When we do have a new HTP application date to share with you, we will do so with advanced notice.
Third, in light of this change,
the HTP webinar previously scheduled for Thursday, March 19, 2020, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. is canceled. The Department will post slides for the presentation on the
HTP website by the close of business on Monday, March 23 so you have that information available for reference in the future.
