Highlights of Trip:

It was a true Alaskan experience. Started with a flight in to a remote camp. The camp was located in the middle of the mountains so the views were incredible. We saw close to 12 bears the first night (4 Browns, 8 Blacks). Ryan D. July 2025- Alaska #312

DEEPLY DISCOUNTED YACHT-BASED DEER HUNT!!

Due to a cancellation, this is a great opportunity for a luxury yacht-based Sitka deer hunt in southeast Alaska this fall at an amazing price.

This Alaskan outfitter has 30 years of experience. He has an exclusive guide area in some of the finest Sitka deer, brown bear and black bear hunting on the planet. These deer hunts are conducted from a 70’ luxury yacht, where you will spend nights and enjoy 5-star meals. During the day, you will use multiple methods to hunt. They hunt multiple areas, either on Prince of Wales Island (famous for its B&C class blacktails) or the ABC Islands. Deer movements and habits are highly dependent upon time of year, the amount of snow fall, the rut activity and the hunt area. The rut typically kicks in around mid-November. There is a 2 deer limit per hunter, and they are normally 100% success most years. Duck hunting is also included.

The regular price of $10,500 per person has been discounted to just $5,750 per person 2x1. Airfare to Juneau, float plane charter to yacht (approx. $400 per person), and licenses/tags/permits (no draw!) are extra. There are 3 spots available.

Date:  November 18-24, 2025 (a prime week for deer!)

Pricing: $10,500- $5,750

OREGON #265

HIGH SUCCESS COW ELK HUNTS

This great Oregon outfitter prides himself on making every hunt a very personal adventure where he is the guide. This is not some huge operation where you are just a number.

For this year he has a couple of cow elk hunts available. These hunts will take place mostly in the Keating unit on both public and private lands. Tags are over the counter. Physically a very moderate hunt where walking will be minimal. Historically this is a 100% opportunity hunt where if you can shoot straight chances are you will get your elk. No need to bring a rifle as you will use the rifle supplied by the outfitter with suppressors. These will be 2 day hunts where you will be responsible for your lodging and meals. It is preferred that you have 2 hunters as this is a 2x1 hunt.

Prices: $2500 per hunter. License and tag. Approximately $760

Dates: November 19-20, 2025- (2 spots)- November 24-25 (2 spots)

UTAH/NEVADA #354

MOUNTAIN LION HUNTS

Most of these hunts are based out of their property in Nevada near the Utah border (30 minutes west of Enterprise, UT). The hunting camp has a small lodge, bunk rooms, shower, internet, TV, etc. Because it gets dark so early and there is a lot of down time, they try to make camp as comfortable as possible. From the camp they are able to hunt any surrounding areas in Nevada and Utah. Occasionally they may use hotels or a mobile camp based out of travel trailers and possibly wall tents. They will also provide all the food and beverages (non-alcoholic) during the hunt.

You will hunt both Utah and Nevada. In Utah as of March 2023 a person may harvest a lion as long as they have a valid hunting license. ($144). There is no annual limit to the number of lions you may harvest. They are licensed and permitted on the Pine Valley, Zion, Southwest Desert, and parts of the Beaver unit. In Nevada the tag is approximately $110. Hunt conditions may range from 1’ of snow to dusty dry ground. As you can see by the pictures snow is not necessary for their dogs to get the job done! They typically offer a 5- day hunt but will customize the hunt to fit clients wants and needs. Transportation during the hunt may consist of trucks, UTV’s, or horseback.

Cost: 5 day 1x1 hunt. $6,000

Dates: Early January until late March

COLORADO #376

HUNT NATION EXCLUSIVE MIGRATION ELK HUNT

We at Hunt Nation are very excited about this unique bull elk hunt so if you are still looking to hunt elk in 2025 at a very affordable price this may be the hunt for you.

Setting in the northwestern corner of the state, a few miles west from the town of Craig, this outfitter owns over a thousand acres of private ground. This ranch is strategically located next to two larger ranches that participate in the practice of Ranching for Wildlife. This is a state sponsored conservation program that helps integrate agricultural practices with wild animal conservation for the benefit of both. The local and migrating elk herds benefit greatly from this program and that make this ranch an elk hot spot. This ranch also serves as access to several thousand acres of land locked BLM land.

We are very excited to offer this hunt. Private land licenses for 2nd and 3rd rifle season are available over the counter, so you can hunt without hitting the draw. You will be staying and hunting out of your own 2 story shooting house. Houses can accommodate from 1 to 3 hunters. You will have your own house for your group regardless if that is a single hunter or a group of 2 or 3.

Here is what a past client has to say about this outfit:

TB Says,” They do everything they can to get you an elk and they treat you like family. After the kill they truly help every way they can. I’ve hunted with them 10 times and I’ve taken 9 elk. The 10th time I passed an elk early on looking for something bigger”

BAITED BROWN BEAR HUNTS

The 2025 season is in the books and it was a great year with 100% shot opportunity, 90% success and 40% success on 9’+ bears. We at Hunt Nation receive many calls from hunters who have been on multiple unsuccessful brown bear hunts. This is a great opportunity at a very reasonable price to finally fulfill your bucket list. Hunt Nation clients went 4 for 5 with the unsuccessful hunter wounding a bear on the last night. Shots for rifle are around 100 yards. You have to keep it together and take your time when the right bear shows up. Generally, the advantage of baited hunts is you have plenty of time to look over bears and make a good shot. Archery hunters also do well here. No hiking or backpacking involved. Comfortable tent camp and ground blinds.

This time of year with almost 24 hours of daylight you can spend as much time as you want in the blind. Blinds are roomy enough to take shifts with guide or hunter taking a nap.
Price is all inclusive, minus license, tags and tips. This hunt is perfect for the less mobile hunter with one of our previous hunters being 84 years young and bagging his bear on day 2. You will also see a large number of black bears with some of them going 7’. You can add one if you buy the tag for a $2,500 trophy fee. Take advantage of 2026 pricing as 2027 prices will raise significantly due to the 100 hours of flight time needed to keep the many baits fresh and active.

2026 PRICES (PRICES SUBJECT TO CHANGE UNTIL DEPOSIT IS RECEIVED)

Baited Brown Bear 7 day 1x1 $20,000 2x1 $17,000

2026 Dates: May through August.

MEXICO #280

TROPHY MULE DEER

Much of the terrain is relatively flat or rolling, but there are also plenty of mountains and high volcanic domes to keep things interesting, especially if you are glassing from them down into the cactus flats. But normally you will be “High Racking”, meaning you will be in the back of the truck watching for deer. Deer numbers are very low in the desert; much of the terrain is flat and dense with cactus, and many miles must often be driven to find the “right” deer. Hunters sometimes get very frustrated with looking over the same country again and again, BUT those giants are there, and they can cover a lot of ground looking for does. A giant can appear at any time – it is critical to be ready and to shoot fast but accurately. Realize too that big bucks must be on their feet for you to see them. Lying down in the brush is where they spend most of their time. So be patient and understand how the game is done.

Mule deer hunters will enjoy an average size of 170"+, with realistic potential of giant bucks if luck and patience pay off, and it is no surprise this destination has one of our highest return rates of any hunt that we offer. Hunt Nation has personally hunted here many times, and the owners/operators are some of the best people you can find south of the border.

TEXAS #123

AWESOME TEXAS AOUDAD

These hunts have been gaining in popularity every year and sell out quickly. So call now to reserve your dates. This is a 2-on-1 guided hunt in West Texas for free ranging aoudad (Barbary sheep). This hunt will be on very remote and private ranches, with rugged terrain. All meals and accommodations are provided. Sheep can run up to 34” and will average 27” to 31”. They can accommodate up to 4 hunters at a time, and they run hunts from the beginning of January to approx. mid-March, but we prefer the earliest available dates, especially for someone after a trophy ram.

These hunts take place in the mountains of West Texas. For 2026 they have acquired an additional 27,000 acres which brings the total hunting area up to around 80,000 acres. There is a year-round population of aoudad, but some also move back and forth across the Mexican border. Although you can cover a lot of ground on 4 wheelers, this hunt can be physically demanding and it will be to your advantage to be in good physical shape, although they can accommodate most hunters. You hunt elevations of 4,500-6,500 feet on some rugged rocky terrain in a typical desert habitat; rocky slopes and good balance and quality boots and footwork do help. Temperatures range from 20 degrees to 85 degrees. Many shots will be under 350 yards, although terrain can cause some shots to be 400+ yards. These are tough animals and we recommend at least a .270 rifle. Javelina are sometimes available as well, at no extra charge. There are no wild hogs there.

2026 PRICES (subject to change until deposit is received)

Pricing: $6,250 for a 2x1 3 ½ day hunt.

Dates: February 19-21 (4 spots)

NEWFOUNDLAND #148

MOOSE, WOODLAND CARIBOU AND BLACK BEAR

This is an outfitter we have worked with for some time. We are very familiar with a number of what in our opinion are “rip-off artists” in this wonderful province. Some of them are almost legendary for their misdeeds. We can think of numerous “don’t go there” outfitters in Newfoundland, some of whom are featured regularly on the outdoor shows and in the hunting magazines. You must be cautious.

First, realize that quality animals in this province consistently ONLY come from areas largely unreachable by residents. Moose and caribou need time to develop trophy antlers. This means sticking to fly-in operations. Of course being in the right general area still does not guarantee a big bull, but this where you need to go. The second criterion to look for is low hunter numbers in camp, to ensure a quality hunt and plenty of trophy animals. The third criterion is picking an outfitter who has his own planes, camps and guides. There are many sad stories of inadequately equipped outfitters, so this is important. This outfitter qualifies on all three counts. There are cheaper hunts, but you need to beware and use caution.

You will be hunting within either an ecological reserve or a wildlife reserve where there will be no other hunters in the field other than those at camp. He is able to do this only because they were there before the reserves were established; so they have been grandfathered in and have exclusive hunting rights to vast areas.
