On the evening of Proof's 29th birthday, the growing UMC Creative Team had a bonding session over baseball and $1 hotdogs. Together they cheered the Blue Jays to a win and ate over two dozen dogs. A dramatic documentary was created to honour the heroic plight of the lead hotdogger.
| Meet the new Proofers this month and learn some fun facts about them! | On July 19, Sohaib took his Oath of Citizenship. He participated in the Citizenship Ceremony with his family on hand and was genuinely moved by his experience. "It was amazing how the central theme throughout the Citizenship ceremony - from the invitation letter; to the judge and PM speeches; to the clerk briefing us in, to the oath; is HELPING EACH OTHER and taking care of Canada together. It was heartwarming to see how the theme of 'you're one of us now, an equal, and we all need to help each other' was woven throughout. What a wonderful building block, that makes you feel like a proud Canadian from Day One." | |
This year’s Heron Gate Summer Fun Day took place on August 18 and 19. Organized by Hazelview Properties, this event allows the Heron Gate community to get together and enjoy activities such as checking out videos created by Heron Gate youth, a BBQ, bouncy castles, a video game truck and a petting zoo.
Our own Maurice Rioux attended this year’s festivities at Sandalwood Park in Ottawa and had a chance to discuss future development at Heron Gate with Colleen Krempulec, Managing Partner and Head of Sustainability & Brand at Hazelview Properties.

| Parc Omega and its first-of-its-kind experience | On June 28, Capital-Image organized a launch event for their client, Parc Omega, to introduce media and content creators to various cool new experiences the park has to offer this summer. Located in Montebello, roughly midway between Ottawa and Montreal and renowned for its exceptional wildlife encounters, Parc Omega elevated the visitor experience this summer with a range of exciting additions, made possible by a $13 million investment. |
With the consumer division of J&J going out on its own, they needed to recruit their own people now. Thanks to an introduction from Rebecca Beitchman, the Proof Experiences team got to work on a very quick turnaround for an internal recruitment event. Proof Experiences sourced the venue and produced the entire Employer Brand event. Clients were thrilled with the results and have identified 10 – 12 potential interviewees to join the Kenvue team. The team is hopeful for more opportunities with Kenvue for both Px and Proof Strategies.
Big thank you to Bibi Poon, Kate Guy, Marco Briganti, Vivi Mootoo, Karan Mehta, Reem Abughazaleh, and Lorne Cooperberg.

The Proof Experiences Conference and Events division continued its impressive growth with two big wins including The Home Depot (THD) and Moneris. The mandate with Moneris begins with their Annual Sales Conference in January and THD is an AOR relationship that is already well underway, with Proof Experiences expanding its lead of all events across THD and THD Foundation. Thanks to Josh Cobden and Stefan Petar for their insights.
Congratulations to Bibi Poon, Natalie Ciarallo, Lorne Cooperberg, Emily Hutton, Reem Abughazaleh and Kelly Power.
