What magical fix to the house of medicine would make the most difference? First deal with the crisis in healthcare. Declare war on healthcare and change healthcare inequalities, such as racism, education, language and social economics as a start.

What destination is next on your bucket list? Heaven!
Johnny E Johnson, Jr, MD, grew up in Beckley, West Virginia. He received his BS from Marshall University in Huntington, WVA. He enlisted in the United States Air force and served 4 years including a tour in Vietnam as a Medic.
Dr. Johnson Jr. received his medical degree at Meharry Medical College in Nashville Tennessee and completed his residency at St. Louis University School of Medicine. He also received a Master of Healthcare Science at the University of Denver, and Master of Science in Developmental Biology from the University of Cincinnati. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Johnson has over 40 years combined experience in private practice teaching, clinical practice, mentoring and practice management in OB/GYN.
Dr. Johnson’s academic appointments and teaching experience include Clinical Professor OB/GYN and Clinical Professor Family Practice a the University of Colorado Health Science Center, Clinical Professor in OB/GYN at St. Matthew’s School of Medicine. He was also the supervisor and mentor for student’s clinical rotation in OB/GYN surgical procedures and deliveries at Rocky Vista Osteopathic Medical School.
Dr Johnson is married and has three adult children and two grandchildren. When not championing change in the house of medicine, you can find him on the golf course or enjoying fine dining in Denver with his wife June.
