NEW BEGINNINGS FOR CAROLE
|
|
|
Carole and her husband will be relocating to Montreal at the end of the summer to be closer to their family. She will be truly missed as our friend, colleague, teacher and mentor to our community.
Over the past 4 years, Carole has amazed us with her enthusiasm and positive energy in her day to day interactions at Beyond.
We are very excited for Carole as she embarks on this new chapter of her life! To follow, there will be a farewell tea planned for Carole this summer.
With love and gratitude,
Tina & the Beyond Team

What are chakras and why are there 7?
The 7 chakras are the energy centres in our body in which energy flows through. Each chakra is located along the spine, starting at the base and running upwards to the crown of the head. Each of these “whirling disks of light” radiates a specific color and spiritual quality. The chakras connect your spiritual and emotional to your physical body. Think of them as rechargeable batteries.
1.
Root Chakra
- Represents our foundation and feeling of being grounded.
2.
Sacral Chakra -
Our connection and ability to accept others and new experiences.
3.
Solar Plexus Chakra -
Our ability to be confident and in control of our lives.
4.
Heart Chakra -
Our ability to love.
5.
Throat Chakra
- Our ability to communicate.
6.
Third Eye Chakra
- Our ability to focus on and see the big picture.
7.
Crown Chakra
- The highest chakra represents our ability to be fully connected spiritually.

Osteopathy During Pregnancy
During pregnancy, a woman’s body will go through a great number of changes to accommodate the growing baby and prepare for delivery. These changes are natural, and the female body is designed to be able to handle these adaptations over the course of the nine months.
However, many women will seek osteopathic treatment during pregnancy, particularly to address any mechanical problems in the spine and pelvis that could interfere with the postural adaptation for mom during the pregnancy, or with the delivery. If the mobility of the lumbar spine, the sacrum and coccyx, the sacroiliac joints, or the pubic symphysis are compromised due to trauma or altered tension in the pelvic floor muscles, it may limit the body’s natural ability to adapt to a growing baby or limit the opening of the pelvis during childbirth. A hard fall on the buttocks (recent or in years past) is something that could shift the pelvis out of its optimal alignment and cause mom to experience pain and discomfort as her body struggles to adapt to a growing baby.
Gentle osteopathic techniques are safe at all stages of pregnancy and are a wonderful treatment option for pregnant women who are experiencing pain or discomfort.
Join Dennis & Nicole on May 15th at 2:30 p.m. for a complimentary Tea & Learn on
