Janet and her daughter Savanna moved to Texas 15 years ago from Columbia. Although Savanna was only a little girl at the time, she remembers her big family living in just one room before the transition. For the past 2 years the family have been patients at Healing Hands, receiving help with mammograms as well as pediatric care. It was crucial to Janet that her daughter received the same care that she does from our own Dr. Brock when she turned 18. When asked how they felt about the service they receive, Savanna just smiled and said, "Coming in here just feels like therapy."
Adam Chabira, Board Chair
Our Board Chair, Adam Chabira, has certainly made his mark on Healing Hands. Adam is a Lake Highlands local, with his wife Julie and two daughters, Adison and Audrey. He has served on the HHM board for 8 years in a number of areas, including Board Development, Finance as our Treasurer, and most recently Chair of the Board. Adam played an influential role in HHM's shift to the Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) model, "expanding beyond just uninsured patients to all patients who struggle with access to high quality care." We thank Adam for his tremendous service and dedication to Healing Hands mission to provide access to quality healthcare to anyone in need.

Partner with Texas Health Dallas Hospital for all deliveries
Healing Hands Ministries provides access to quality prenatal care and family planning services. Our interpreters on staff assist our patients to communicate with our medical team.
COVID Vaccinations Update
Healing Hands Ministries continues to administer the Moderna vaccine for adults 18 years and older. As of today, we have administered 2,604 doses of the vaccine to patients and neighbors.
