We’d like to thank everyone who donated to the
Us TOO Holiday Hope campaign
, which generated funding for
educational resources and support services
provided by Us TOO at no charge. We’d also like to send a special shout out of thanks to support group leaders and others in the community who shared a
quote or story of hope
for the fundraising campaign.
Video is now available from the
Us TOO Prostate Cancer Pathways for Patients and Caregivers Chicago
event and webcast! The event was recorded on November 3 at NorthShore University HealthSystem in Skokie, IL. There are special presentations on
Sex and Intimacy
after Treatment, and
Pelvic Floor Health for Incontinence
in addition to great information about men's health risks, PSA testing, active surveillance, treatment options, and management of treatment side effects.
Access short video segments
specific to each topic in addition to the option of watching the entire presentation.
If you are the wife or female partner of a man with prostate cancer, we invite you to
join a conference call to connect with other women
facing the same challenges. Because prostate cancer is a couple's disease, the woman is often subject to her own concerns in addition to those she shares with her partner.
A Forum for Her
is an ongoing series of conference calls that provides women with important peer-to-peer support. To register email at
or call 877-978-7866.
If you haven’t yet done so, check out
Between the Sheets
, a supplement in the enclosed Hot SHEET. It's a regular column dealing with
sex and intimacy after treatment
for prostate cancer, with questions answered by experts. Find
and submit your question for possible publication at
As you may know, Us TOO collaborates with the
Patient Access Network (PAN)
Foundation, an independent, national 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to helping federally and commercially insured people living with life-threatening, chronic and rare diseases with the out-of-pocket costs for their prescribed medications. This includes financial assistance for patients with advanced prostate cancer. To do so more efficiently, PAN is introducing
FundFinder, a new
web-based app that instantly notifies users when a disease fund opens at any charitable foundation
to receive notifications from FundFinder.
Us TOO Prostate Cancer Clinical Trial Finder
simplifies the process of identifying clinical trials by matching a patient’s profile with relevant clinical trials at no charge. We are excited to share that the
site has been upgraded
to the latest web application version and features a new layout with the option to “Pre-Screen Now” from within the Trial Summary; and a new questionnaire layout for better navigation and easier access from mobile devices.
