Dear UCEA, it’s time for another month of our #UCEASpotlight! Even as the semester winds down for many, Headquarters continues to move ahead.
Our first bit of good news, we are happy to welcome East Carolina University as a full member! Please visit their website to learn more about their faculty, students, and programs. Go, Pirates!
Second, we are still accepting program nominations for the Excellence in Educational Leadership Award. This award recognizes a practicing school administrator who has made significant contributions to your program. Nominations must come for your institution’s PSR but you can certainly help in the process! The deadline to submit nominations is May 15th, 2021.
Lastly, please keep an eye out for the call for Jackson Scholar nominations. Nominations are due at the end of June and we will have the info out later this month. We will also be calling for JSN mentors. So stay tuned! The deadline for both Jackson Scholar and JSN mentors is June 30, 2021.
As always, feel free to reach out if you have any questions or news to share!
Adelante UCEA!
