Hope4NC Provides Resources After Hurricane Helene

The Hope4NC team in Western North Carolina continues to take a strong lead in providing mental health services and gathering resources to help the community recovering from Hurricane Helene.

In collaboration with NCDHHS, Partners Health Management team held their second free giveaway through the Mountain Aid Project earlier this month. The event distributed essential resources including food, first aid supplies, blankets, books, and toys. Also, Duke Energy donated $25,000 to help farmers repair and rebuild.

Collectively DMHDDSUS, Vaya Health, Partners Health Management, Trillium and REAL Crisis Center have provided services through Hope4NC Crisis Counseling Program to over 20,000 people since initial services began in late September. The program assists individuals in communities as they recover from the devastating impacts of Hurricane Helene. By fostering these partnerships and sharing vital information, we are committed to empowering community members to navigate their challenges and secure the assistance they need.
