FRESH BRANZINO/
LOUP DE MER FILLETS

Known in France and the British Isles as Loup de Mer or European sea bass, branzino is the Italian name for the same fish. Branzino is also one of the most successfully farmed fish in Europe. If you've never tried it, we couldn't recommend it more - mild and nutty-flavored, it lends itself to simple preparations, such as a quick saute in olive oil and topped with herb butter or some of our Lemon Dill Sauce. Also great baked with a sprinkling of dried herbs - ask us for suggestions.

Salmon Kabobs  
For the grill
Kebabs: We will have salmon and other varieties of kebabs ready for you to brush with marinade or grilling sauce (ask us for suggestions) - if you want a particular fish put onto a skewer, give us a call by the day before you need them - 
630-887-4700. We'll make them up just for you! Some of our favorites: Swordfish, tuna, mahi mahi, shrimp or sea bass. 
Burgers:
 We will have fresh salmon burgers and possibly some fresh tuna burgers, easy to grill and great on a bun. 
Fish for Grilling:
 The types of fish that are best for grilling are the thicker, meatier fish, such as halibut, tuna, marlin, swordfish, salmon, mahi mahi, sea bass, plus shrimp and scallops - ask us for suggestions. Fish cooks quickly, so less time standing in front of the grill!
Sides:
Rice Pilaf, Wild Rice with Dried Cherries, Calico Couscous, Herb Roasted Potatoes, Potato Salad, Lentil Pilaf, Creamy Coleslaw, Broccoli Salad & more - selection varies daily.

     In late June we catered a fun event for a family in Wilmette - a combined 40th and 5th birthday party, father and son. Another father and son duo, Burhop's Chef Jaime and his son Jonny, cooked up kebabs, lobster tails, sweet corn and more for a happy crowd of many ages. According to the hostess:
