The Franconia Fire Department will be doing a "Training Burn" on Saturday, July 25 on 793 Main St. Pleas use caution when passing.
It is Bear season and they are plentiful this year so please secure your trash and keep your property free of things that will attract them. There are limited solutions the police have to bear problems so please give them some distance and hopefully they well be on their way without incident.

NHDOT has begun work on the drop downs for the crosswalks this week and then will repave Rte 116. This will take several weeks. Please be aware and drive safely through the construction zone.
The ZBA is meeting Thursday, July 30 at 4:30 in the town hall
If you find it necessary to call the police dept but it is not an emergcency call 823-8123.
The Police Dept. office is not always staffed, but dispatch works 24/7 and will notify the officer on duty to call you back
