Welcome to the Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council, Latisha Martin!

Ohio DD Council’s newest Council Member, Latisha, currently lives in Dayton, Ohio. When asked about her city, she shares that Wright Patterson Air Force Base is a big staple in her city of Dayton that people from everywhere come to visit. Latisha also adds Dayton is the home of the famous Wright Brothers.

One of Latisha’s earliest acts of advocacy was when she told the truth to the powers-that-be about her living situation which she wasn't pleased with at the time. As a result, her advocacy ended up with her receiving an Individual Option Waiver and a wealth of independence.
