PRESIDENT'S LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

Greetings NBCA Leaders!

You are receiving this special eblast because you are invited to attend the President’s Leadership Conference in Austin, Texas. The President’s Leadership Conference will be an important time of vision casting, collaboration, and preparation as we look ahead to 2027.

Schedule:

• Monday, November 9, 2026 at 4:00 pm: Executive Leadership Team (President, Vice-Presidents, General Secretary and the Leadership of the State Presidents/Moderators’ Conference)
• Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at 9:00 am: Executive Leadership Team, Auxiliaries, Boards, Commissions and other Leadership Teams
• Wednesday, November 11, 2026 at 12:00 pm: Conclusion of Conference

Location:

The conference will be held at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 2938 East 13th Street, Austin, Texas 78702, where Rev. Daryl Horton, DMin, serves as Pastor.

If you are unable to attend, you are asked to ensure that another leader from your respective area attends on your behalf.

The room block is available from Sunday, November 8th through Wednesday, November 11th at a rate of $139 per night. Leaders may select either a King room or a room with two Queen beds.

If calling the hotel directly, leaders will need to reference the “Mt. Zion Baptist Church Room Block.” Free parking is available for those driving, and made-to-order breakfast is included.

The deadline to reserve rooms at the group rate is Tuesday, October 27th.

LEADERSHIP ATTENDANCE CONFIRMATION FORM

Deadline to complete attendance or non-attendance form is approaching

All invited leaders are required to complete the Leadership Attendance Confirmation Form to indicate whether you will or will not attend the 2026 Leadership Conference with the President.

If you are attending, the form will collect your leadership, lodging, and preliminary travel information. If your travel arrangements have not yet been finalized, you may still complete the form now and update your travel information later.

If you are unable to attend, you are still required to complete the form and provide information on the leader who will represent your respective area.

TRANSPORTATION FOR AIRPORT AND MEETINGS

Deadline to complete airport transportation is approaching

Mount Zion Baptist Church is excited to welcome the NBCA leadership team to Austin, Texas. To help make your visit as convenient as possible, transportation will be provided for those who request it and are staying at Embassy Suites Austin Central.

Your one-time transportation fee of $50 per person will cover:

• Transportation from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport upon arrival
• Transportation to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport for departure
• Transportation to and from the leadership meeting at Mount Zion Baptist Church each day

Payment: Transportation payments will be collected at Mount Zion Baptist Church before the start of the Tuesday morning sessions and we ask that you pay by cash. The drivers will not be accepting payment and there is no need to tip them extra gratuity.

DRIVING TO AUSTIN? Local Transportation Is Available to Meetings

Deadline to complete local transportation is approaching

If you are driving to Austin but would like to take advantage of transportation provided by Mount Zion Baptist Church to and from the leadership meetings each day, you may request local transportation in advance.

The cost is a one-time fee of $25 per person and covers transportation to and from the leadership meeting each day.

Payment: Transportation payments will be collected at Mount Zion Baptist Church before the start of the Tuesday morning sessions and we ask that you pay by cash. The drivers will not be accepting payment and there is no need to tip them extra gratuity.
