Early December, Lycée students took part in the global movement Hour of Code TM .

Ask your child to tell you about their new coding skills.

Feel free to explore the Hour of Code TM site with your child, they might even teach you something!

See below for more photos of our students in action.
Grade 11's used coding games like Quorum Master to create graphical maps of the solar system. Other games teach students how to write in Javascript and create their own app.
CE1A and a MSC classes teamed up and used arrow cards to "code" their way through different mazes before trying it with the robotic mouse.
FLIP students did an "un-plugged" Hour of Code activity, creating a maze on the floor of their classroom and working together using arrow cards to make their way through it.
Using iPads, our MSB students practiced their "Drag and Drops" in class.
Grade 3, 4 & 5 students were grinning as they learned new coding skills - they had a blast during their Hour of Code. Stay tuned for more photos next week.
