Since we last connected here, eastern and rural Oregon has started the process of reopening. In fact,
of the counties in House District 60 have reopened. Our communities are getting back to business, while also continuing to protect our vulnerable populations. This has been a good first step, we look forward to Phase 2 and moving forward on getting our economy going.
There’s a lot to discuss on this issue and that’s why I, along with Senator Lynn Findley and Representative Daniel Bonham are hosting our fourth virtual town hall tomorrow.
We’d like to discuss what is happening in Oregon right now and the actions we are taking as your legislative leaders at the regional and state level in the reopening efforts.
The virtual town hall will take place tomorrow,
Thursday, May 28
at 5:30-6:30pm (PDT).
The event is open to the public and media. Registration is required in order to provide the virtual login information necessary to participate.
Please register early in order to participate at:
Specifically, this town hall is an opportunity for us to hear from you so please join us prepared with questions. You can ask your questions live during the town hall, submit questions during the event or you can email your questions in advance. We will try to address as many of your thoughts and concerns as possible.
This is an important way to connect during a crucial time in our state and I hope you will join us.
I want to thank you and all of our community leaders for your patience with each other and your commitment to stay the course. You’ve been instrumental in getting our communities ready to reopen safely.
We look forward to connecting with you tomorrow during our town hall and as always, stay safe.
