From the Ballpark to Our House

Last month, our San Francisco Giants brought big smiles to Family House with a very special visit! Families, staff and the players took part in a game of t-ball, autographs, a Build-A-Bear station, and more.

Childhood Cancer Awareness September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a time to shine a spotlight on the difficult realities of pediatric cancer and strengthen support for children, families, and medical teams working tirelessly to save lives. This month, we honor the courage of children in treatment, the strength of survivors, the families walking alongside them, the memory of children whose lives were cut short, and the doctors, nurses, care teams and researchers dedicated to finding cures.

What’s New at Family House

Our main staircase and performance area just got a fresh new look with state-of-the-art A/V equipment and striking wall sculptures. The space officially reopened on August 14 with a ribbon-cutting celebration alongside families, friends, and staff. Huge thanks to Nibbi Construction, Peter Walker, Sheri Sobrato, and many others who made it possible. Now our musical performances and movie nights look - and sound - better than ever!
