As we celebrate 10 years in Mission Bay, read more about how Family House has been a lifeline for families like the Hammonds, who traveled across the country seeking critical cancer treatement for their daughter at UCSF.

Family Programs Highlight

Our recent butterfly observation program brought wonder and connection to Family House, where families watched caterpillars transform and documented their journey through a guided journal activity.

The program culminated in a beautiful butterfly release ceremony - a shared moment of joy and reflection that embodied the growth and resilience we see in our families every day. A special thank you to our staff member Barbi for facilitating this meaningful experience!
