Family House Stories
A Safe Place for Roman

Roman loves to kick the soccer ball and practice dribbling outside in the courtyardhis favorite place to play!

“I don’t know what we’d do without Family House,” said Roman’s mom, Mariela. “We feel very safe here, and that is the best environment for Roman now.”

Roman’s parents, Mariela and Ricardo, first came to Family House in 2021 when Roman was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), a type of blood cancer.
Join us at the 41st Annual Gala

Enjoy a 60’s-theme celebration at the Fairmont San Francisco on April 29, featuring live music by Beatles tribute band The Sun Kings, cocktails, dinner, a finely curated live auction, and more.

The theme, All You Need is Love, is a phrase that’s integral to our mission. All event proceeds will fund direct services provided to our families, including temporary housing, meals, and amenities for families with a child being treated for cancer or other life-threatening illnesses.

Join us to honor CEO Alexandra E. Morgan's 22 years of leadership, dedication, and service to Family House.

Ways to Give

As tax season begins, now is a good time to talk with your tax and financial professionals about including Family House in your estate planning. Your gift will provide lasting support and enable families in need to live in dignity during a child’s medical crisis.

You can make a planned gift by including Family House in your will, as a beneficiary on a retirement account or life insurance policy, and by establishing a charitable trust. These gifts can result in substantial tax savings.
