Grateful Hearts

Thanks to our very generous donors, House of Ruth was able to provide holiday gifts for 130 survivors and their families during the 2019 holiday season. Here are a few words of gratitude from our House of Ruth families:

" Thank you so much for your generous hearts. We had lost everything through domestic violence. But you have helped my children and I have a real Christmas." - Susie.

"Thank you is an understatement. Words don't do justice for how blessed you have made me and my two daughters feel." - A grateful heart.

We are grateful for your generosity and kindness, which has touched multiple hearts this holiday season.
Foundation Spotlight

House of Ruth is excited to announce our continued partnership with The Eisner Foundation this year. The Eisner Foundation is committed to uniting multiple generations for the greater good, and we are proud to be a part of their inter-generational initiatives.

As our Volunteer Program expands, the foundation has granted us $200,000 over two years in general operating support to increase outreach and retention of senior volunteers, and to strengthen necessary infrastructure to reach thousands of community members in outreach and support in Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties.

Through their support we have been able to expand services to our families through transportation, child care, and self care groups for shelter residents.
