House of Ruth Happenings!
House of Ruth
Counseling Office Revamp

After 4 months of hard work, House of Ruth staff completed the final renovation stage, transforming the former shared office space, into a welcoming, soothing space for survivors receiving in-person therapy sessions.

For many families, the House of Ruth Counseling Department is their only source of emotional support. Last year, survivors and their children received 2,978 counseling service hours through the Outreach and Shelter Counseling programs.

A special shout out to Toni Schrader, Director of Counseling for envisioning a safe comfortable environment for clients, and to the following staff and volunteers who assisted with this project: Sabrina Almaraz, Ashley Spencer, Christopher Daigle, Rhonda Beltran, Krystal Minniefield, Gracie Gonzalez, Areli Galle, Eimy Estrada, Karin Perez, Silvia Blanco, Lucia De La Torre, Kanwal Hassan, and Ebony Bryant. You are all appreciated.
