A Walk in My Shoes Film Screening 🎬

LMM would like to thank everyone who joined us for last night's screening of Gloria Craig’s A Walk in My Shoes documentary at the Cleveland Public Library! We hope that this event inspired you to join us in building a broader discussion around homelessness and affordable housing.


LMM would also like to say a special thank you to the We Raise Foundation for sponsoring this film and to the Cleveland Public Library for hosting the screening.


In case you missed last night's event, there is another viewing of the film at Cleveland Public Library tomorrow from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM. This screening will be one of the final free public viewings of A Walk in My Shoes until film festival season this fall.

Portraits of Strength at Cleveland Public Library 📷

LMM is excited to partner with the Cleveland Public Library to host a viewing of Lydia Bailey’s Portraits of Strength: Stories of Redemption photo gallery.


Portraits of Strength features photos and stories of LMM staff members who have overcome extreme challenges in their lives, now using their experiences to help others. The gallery is a testimony to the advantages of Fair Chance Hiring in the workplace.


The gallery is on display at the Cleveland Public Library at 525 Superior Ave., Cleveland, OH 44114, in the Lewis Stokes Wing from now until June 2.

News 5 Cleveland recently visited the Metro45 Food Truck as part of their We Follow Through segment to highlight how the social enterprise on wheels not only serves delicious meals, but also second chances.


News 5 interviewed multiple LMM staff members, including Food Truck Supervisor Brandy Swoveland and Executive Chef Scott Teaman, who highlighted their firsthand experiences of the impact of the Metro45 Food Truck.

NEOCH is hosting its first-ever Housing Justice Summit on Saturday, June 8 from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, featuring keynote speaker Daniel Kerr, author of Derelict Paradise: Homelessness and Urban Development in Cleveland, OH.


This all-day event is focused on empowering people who have been impacted by homelessness and housing insecurities and building collective capacity to advance housing justice.
