City of San Bernardino - Housing & Homeless

Exciting Partnership with Lutheran Social Services

In collaboration with Lutheran Social Services and Dignity Moves, the City of San Bernardino is excited to announce a significant initiative to address homelessness in our community. Thanks to funding from the State's Homekey program, construction began on April 15 for a vital project aimed at providing interim housing and essential services. Set to be completed by March 2025, this initiative marks a crucial step forward in supporting our unhoused population.

Located on "G" Street, the new Community Wellness Campus will offer:

  • 140 modular housing units
  • On-site health clinic
  • Case management services
  • Behavioral health treatment
  • Job training and placement programs
  • Rehabilitation services
  • Long-term housing assistance

Lutheran Social Services of Southern California remains a steadfast partner in this endeavor, continuing to deliver vital programs and initiatives aimed at addressing homelessness, supporting victims of violence, providing meals to those in need, promoting mental health recovery, engaging with seniors, and mentoring youth.

Together, we are making significant progress toward a brighter future for all members of our community.
