Hello-

We hope you are well and settling into your summer break. With Housing Selection taking place next week for our continuing students, we wanted to send this reminder of what the last steps of the process look like, how to complete these as an individual or group leader, and provide you with resources you’ll need during selection next week.

If you are the group leader or will be selecting housing alone, the video below walks you through the final steps within the housing portal.
Configuration Update

We understand that many continuing students are looking to select a single room and/or a double room outside of a suite/apartment environment. In evaluating our housing configurations, we are going to make the following changes:
  • Offer Huffman, which consists of unsuited single and double rooms, to continuing students
- and -
  • Increase the number of first-year students living in suited spaces in Poteat.

These changes will be reflected on the availability list released later this week.
  • During selection, you can contact us at housing@wfu.edu or 336-758-5185 for assistance. Our assignments team will be available to work with you on any specific questions or concerns.
  • Our availability list, which updates every 15-20 minutes during selection week and shows which rooms are still available, will go live this Friday, June 11 at 5 p.m at go.wfu.edu/availabilitylist. Please reference this regularly going into the day of your selection; the video below provides additional instruction on how to read this document.
  • As you’re finalizing your plans, more information on our communities and floor plans can be found at rlh.wfu.edu/halls
  • For general housing selection information please visit go.wfu.edu/housingselection.
As always, don’t hesitate to contact us at housing@wfu.edu or 336-758-5185 if we can be of assistance.

Best,
