Home for the Holidays

We are excited to share the inspiring journey of a local resident who has been employed by the City of Flagstaff for almost a decade. Just in time for the holidays, this family of three achieved the remarkable milestone of becoming homeowners! With the dedicated assistance of our Housing Programs Manager, they utilized down-payment assistance funds to purchase their first home. Moving into their new residence just days before Christmas, being ‘home for the holidays’ took on a whole new meaning, marking a milestone that was once only a dream. This success story not only underscores the impact of our Pre-Purchase Assistance programs, but also highlights the enduring importance of having a place to call home – not just during the holidays but, more significantly, throughout the entire year. We are proud to have played a role in making this family’s dream of homeownership a reality, ensuring they can establish lasting roots in our community for years to come.

Sustainability Impact

Thank you to the City of Flagstaff for selecting our thrift store, Sharon's Attic, as a a sustainability grant award recipient! Funds will help us share about the positive environmental impact we have, as well as host community events focused on this topic.

New Sharon Manor Windows

Thanks to a generous grant from the Northern AZ Housing Fund, we'll be replacing windows in five Sharon Manor apartments! Thank you for helping us maintain safe and affordable homes for the households we have the privilege of supporting and walking alongside.

Support for Survivors

Thanks to the AZ Diamondbacks Foundation for selecting us as a program grant recipient! Funds will be used to support survivors of domestic violence experiencing homelessness through our Sharon Manor program.
