It was such a long, cold and wet winter, glad to see Spring!
Hope all take time to enjoy the sunshine!

Management Review
March 2018
Tony Castiglie, Vice President & Treasurer
With winter now behind us, the effects of a rather colder than normal winter are visible. Especially hard hit was the tropical plants & vegetation. The dead limbs on my palm trees are readily visible but fortunately, the trees survived.  With the hardwood trees now beginning to bloom, I am reminded of the 100 tons of pollen that will soon follow.
The Volunteers ran 190 Missions during February. With two months down, 59 Volunteers have run 424 Missions. It is a little too early for an annual forecast but with the great group we have, I am always optimistic.
And now for the leaders of the pack:

Health Tip:

Asparagus is one of the most healing vegetables we have, for it detoxify your body of harmful chemicals. Many cancer patients, those with bladder infections or other ailments swear by it that it helped heal them. They take Green Giant canned or cook fresh Asparagus and put it in a blender and drink it with some water added twice a day for one month. People say they see amazing healings. I once heard a pastor say that everything we need to take care of ourselves is given to us, if we only knew where to look, and maybe Asparagus is one of those things. Books on herbs are also a great resource for those interested in going holistic.
