Happy Holidays
from all of us at your
Norman Williams Public Library
December 24, 2020
As the new year approaches, I think we are all ready to begin a new chapter with reason to be hopeful for better days ahead in 2021. This past year has presented unusual challenges and I continue to offer my thanks for your ongoing cooperation and understanding as we navigate the library through the daily challenges of COVID19.

Looking back on the past year, I recognize the many obstacles the pandemic has presented to our community -- but what stands out are the many acts of generosity and compassion that make Woodstock such a special place. I am happy to report that the Free Coat bin in the library lobby has overflowed numerous times in the past few weeks. This Woodstock area coat swap is a local project initiated by the “Strengthening Families, Building Community” collaborative. I cannot thank you enough for your contributions.

A new year is like a blank notebook and the pen is in our hands. This is our chance to write a beautiful story for ourselves. Let’s make it a good one!

Wishing you all a very happy and healthy new year,
Norman Williams Public Library
