FY24 Second Chance Act Smart Supervision Program

The Smart Supervision Program provides grants to improve the capacity and effectiveness of probation and parole agencies to increase supervision success rates by more effectively addressing individuals’ risks and needs and reducing recidivism.
This program facilitates policy and practice changes by community supervision agencies that address drivers of high rates of incarceration, supervision, and disparities.

Pre-Application Information Session
BJA will hold a webinar on this solicitation on Thursday, March 28, at 1 p.m. ET. This call will provide a detailed overview of the solicitation and allow interested applicants to ask questions. Preregistration is required for all participants. Register by clicking on this link and following the instructions. To use the time most efficiently, BJA encourages participants to review this solicitation and submit any questions in advance and no later than Tuesday, March 26.
