Nonprofit Funding Holds Strong Despite Economic Downturn
This fall, we are distributing more than $5.2 million to 365 Central Oklahoma nonprofits. And, despite severe economic disruptions tied to COVID-19, the total distribution actually increased over the amount given in 2019!

Thanks to generous donors and a stable investment performance, charitable organizations with endowment funds at the Community Foundation receive an annual distribution equal to 5% of the fund’s average market value from the previous 12 quarters. Through this policy, fund balances grow, allowing the annual distributions to increase and providing support for years to come.
YOU Start a Scholarship, WE Do the Rest!
October means scholarship season at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation! We work with donors just like your clients to administer more than 150 scholarship opportunities that yielded a total of $2.5 million to 799 students for the 2020-21 academic year.

With a minimum of $40,000, donors or groups can establish a scholarship at the Community Foundation. Once established, our knowledgeable staff takes over, managing the administration, promoting the scholarship, reviewing recipients and distributing awards. This partnership makes it easy for donors to achieve their charitable goals while giving deserving students the opportunity to pursue their dreams.
