CHURCH INFORMATION SHEET
About Us
Founded in 1980, the Center for Pregnancy Concerns (CPC) is a non-political, Christian, pro-life ministry of hope and life serving women and families in Baltimore City and the surrounding region.

CPC operates three locations: two material resource centers in Essex and North Baltimore, and Options@328, our medical services facility in downtown Baltimore.

We believe in the sanctity of life and God's gift of free will. We embrace women where they are at in life, acknowledging the unique challenges pregnancy may pose for them. We extend God’s love to those we serve and promote the dignity and value of all life. We seek to educate women on life-affirming choices. We offer a safe, non-judgmental space for women in need to get all the facts about their pregnancy.

Our medical services facility, Options@328, serves women by providing free pregnancy testing, sonograms, access to the abortion pill reversal protocol, and access to resource referrals, including post-abortive healing. Options@328 is located next door to Planned Parenthood on Howard Street in Baltimore City. We are the only crisis pregnancy center Baltimore City to offer the Abortion Pill Reversal (APR) in partnership with the Abortion Pill Reversal Network (AbortionPillResuceNetwork.com). We see many women who are homeless, victims of abuse and neglect, the undocumented, the addicted, and the trafficked, plus they are pregnant!

We also extend love and support to pregnant women and new moms through our two resource centers. There, we offer our clients free, on-line educational programs regarding pregnancy, parenting, relationships, and life skills needed to empower and support healthy families. We also provide moms with material support like diapers, wipes, and formula, all at no charge.

How Churches Can Support CPC
  • Pray that all women experiencing an unplanned or crisis pregnancy will choose life.
  • Pray for our staff, that we may be protected and filled with the Holy Spirit as we minster to pregnant women and their unborn children.
  • Inform your church members about our free services. Women attending your church services may be faced with an unexpected pregnancy and could use our medical services, advocacy, and/or material support. CPC can help them! Consider adding CPC's weblink (cpcforhelp.org) to your church website as a mission partner or resource. CPC can also provide your church with bi-lingual information cards outlining our free services which can be displayed near your information desk and/or community display. To view these bi-lingual CPC services cards, please click here.
  • Invite CPC staff to speak to your congregation or group. CPC can also provide videos and literature to share with interested parties. Reach out to Paula for speaking engagement requests here or call 443-884-9208.
  • Stay informed and sign up for CPC's monthly newsletter here.
  • Attend CPC's donor event and invite key church members to join you. (Those who may be interested in learning more about our ministry). CPC hosts events in the Fall and Spring.
  • Talk up our ministry. Ask your church members to consider volunteering their time and talents. CPC needs:
  1. Volunteer at our donor events.
  2. Enlist Teens to perform service hours at CPC, at home, or at our donor events.
  3. Volunteer at one of our material resource centers, sort clothing and other baby items. Help prepare baby blessing bags for our moms-to-be.
  4. Volunteer with administrative tasks that can be completed from the comfort of your own home.
  5. Write notes of encouragement to our clients. CPC can provide you with note cards or you can use your own.
  6. Are you an attorney and bilingual? Help our undocumented clients in need of legal assistance.
  • Become a Mission Partner and walk alongside our clients who have chosen life. Provide our clients with love, support, friendship. If they are not linked to a church, invite them to your place of worship. Many of the women we serve do not walk with the Lord. To become a Church that walks alongside pregnant CPC moms, please click here.
  • Host a Baby Shower. CPC clients are provided with a "Baby Blessing Bag" as they prepare for the birth of their children. Your church can help supply these items by hosting a Baby Shower. Click here to learn more about hosting a baby shower
  • Host a Baby Bottle Campaign. CPC can provide your church with baby bottles and/or giving envelopes for distribution. CPC can also create a partnership webpage with video links and other information about our ministry. Pastors then invite congregants to learn about/support us. Click here to learn more. If you already support another pregnancy center, perhaps CPC could be placed on a rotating schedule.
  • Provide financial support to CPC. CPC is funded by the generosity of individuals, churches, and foundations. If you already support another pregnancy center, perhaps CPC could be placed on a rotating schedule.

Our Mission
The Greater Baltimore Center for Pregnancy Concerns is a locally organized and funded volunteer ministry demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ by providing abortion alternatives to women who find themselves in the midst of an unplanned pregnancy. We service clients by addressing their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. We also strive to provide accurate and complete information on prenatal development and abortion. We believe access to this information is needed in order to provide our clients with the facts, allowing them to make informed decisions. Ultimately, we desire to protect the physical, emotional, and spiritual health of our clients and their unborn children. We also provide emotional support and resources to any woman who comes to us having had an abortion. We believe our ministry to these and all women is to share the love of Jesus Christ.
